Reactivating your irrigation system is the first step in our spring start-up process. The start-up also includes going zone by zone and sprinkler by sprinkler to ensure proper rotation and to look for any leaks or damage. We even go the extra mile to cut away the sod around each sprinkler to extend the longevity of the head. We check the programming on each zone for proper scheduling and run times. We also check that the rain sensor is working correctly. Our experienced technicians can recommend ways to improve performance, save on water, and spot potential trouble. Spring start-ups are included as part of our yearly maintenance services.
Aquatech Irrigation is a New York state certified Backflow tester. Backflow preventer testing is a requirement of many utilities in the greater Rochester area and is a service we are happy to provide for our customers.
To prevent damage and help ensure the long life of your irrigation system, this is not a do-it-yourself project. Aquatech's winterization service fully removes water from the irrigation system prior to the season’s first freeze. Winterizations are included as part of our yearly maintenance and are essential to system Maintenace.

We can modify, add or remove a zone as your property changes, for example, with the addition of a pool. We can also upgrade older systems to be more efficient and conserve water. We can upgrade any existing controller to a newer model or even a WIFI model. Any of these services would require an audit of your system to determine the best course of action.
